Scarves come in a variety of colors, patterns, and fabrics. The first thing one should consider when buying a scarf is the fabric it is made of.
Tying It
Now that you have your scarf in hand you need to know how to tie it. There are as many ways to tie a scarf as there are neckties. Just like neckties though you only need a few to get you through most situations. The good news is they are much easier to tie.
- Once Around- This is simplest and easiest way to tie a scarf. As the name implies you only wrap it once around your neck and head out the door.
- Parisian- To tie a Parisian Knot doubles the scarf, wrap around your neck and pull the ends throughout the loop.
- Twice Around- This knot just adds another step to the once around. You can probably guess that you simply add another wrap to the once around and you're ended.
- Loose Wrap- use the loose wrap on your casual outfits and in slightly warmer weather. The process is the same as the once around only don’t with slack in the wrap.
As you can see men’s scarves are versatile and interesting additions to any wardrobe. They keep you warm in cold and make you appear smart and well dressed. What more could you ask for out of an article of clothing. Given the opportunity scarves could become one of your favorite winter accessories.
